🌀 The Cosmic Mystery (The Spatial Bubble)
The Incident: While everyone was asleep, the ship coasted through a localized wrinkle in spacetime—a rogue bubble of warped space that instantly "teleported" the ship's 50-story fusion engine a few thousand miles away.
The Clues: The cut through the ship is impossibly smooth, fusing the metal atoms together so no air leaks out, leaving a perfectly flat, mirrored wall where the engine room door used to be.

The Crisis: Because the heavy engine is gone, The Archimedes is completely front-heavy, causing the ship to violently tilt, spin, and face imminent orbital decay every time the tiny steering thrusters fire.

The Signal: The screen flickers to life and locks onto a blinking tracker tag on the missing engine, showing that it is perfectly intact but drifting further away into the dark void every single second.
